Simplicity is what I'm going with this year. I feel like I'm drowning in stuff and I need to clear out and focus on just the things my family and I uses. My only big goal this year is to get organized and streamline my house. I hope to accomplish this before the year's end.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree, Lisha! Simplicity is so underrated, and is in reality, such a huge blessing. Tackle it one at a time, and you will have it all done soon :)
ReplyDeleteI'm at an age and stage where that is exactly what I want to do also...downsize, organize, simplify.
ReplyDeleteLove your table setting, and the photo exemplifying simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had learned the art of simplifying when I was much younger. It would have caused less stress and frustration. I love the simplicity of your photo!
ReplyDeleteSimplicity! What a great word to focus on. I was just thinking about this today...it is just so hard for me, being a sentimental pack rat. :-) I hold on to way too many things...I simply buy more tubs to fill them up. And with 4 boys, that is lot of paperwork - but I can never bear throwing away any of their drawings and doodles. :-) I'm making an effort though to streamline...one little pile at a time! ;-) Wishing you the best in finding Simplicity in 2013!
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful word to focus on. I strive for simplicity. Unfortunately, that just means that all the un-simple things in my life get stuffed in a closet that you shouldn't open! ;-) I wish you joy in the journey in 2013. Enjoy the day. Erin
